Roxy Wahine Classic 2004, Day 1
To the victors go the spoils.

Roxy surfers Kassia Meador and Marissa Barry participated in the event, with Meador winning first place in the Senior Wahine Division while Barry took second for the Junior Wahines. The final rounds in each division were full of talented surfers whose smooth skills and ability to carve back and forth on a wave and punch forward to the nose made the event enjoyable to watch for those on the beach.
When the final rounds had commenced, the winners were announced with a short awards ceremony on the beach. Those in first place received a Roxy Wahine Classic lamp, and remaining finalists received hand-made wooden bowls filled with goodies.
