Art shows are a glance into someone’s life, dreams, and perspective on this crazy world. “Getting the shot” is hard enough…but try getting the shot and battling cancer.

Ramon Purcell, one of SG Magazine’s top photographers, is doing just that. To help soften the blow of his soaring medical bills, San Diego photo lab Chrome hosted an art show featuring some of Ramon’s favorite imagery on July 15th. There was a steady flow of visitors all night, and quite a few of Ramon’s pieces were sold. If you’d like to check his work out and join in his fight by buying some beautiful photographs, then stop on by. Ramon’s work will be displayed at Chrome for the next two to three weeks.
