TOP PRO SNOWBOARDERS CONFIRMED FOR THIRD ANNUAL
SG/EMU AUSTRALIA QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN
WHO:
Alexis Waite – The past few seasons have been Waite's most successful yet, as she placed at more and larger events like first- and third-place finishes in Vans Triple Crown of Snowboarding events in 2003 and second-place in The Session at Vail in 2004. She has also graced the pages of major magazines including SG, Men's Fitness, Heckler and Snowboarder, and appeared in "Girls on the Verge" in the November 2003 issue of Transworld Snowboarding. When not competing, she spends her time filming and shooting with credits including 411VM Issues 6 and 7, "Exit Real World" team video in 2002, 2003 and the 2002 16mm film "Declaration".
Chanelle Sladics – Sladics returns to Queen of the Mountain this year to defend her Pro Rail Jam title. She also placed second in last year's Slopestyle competition. Sladics grew up in the surf mecca of Newport Beach, California, and won the ISF Halfpipe Junior World Championships in 2002 and earned her first spot on the Winter X Games. Sladics has appeared on MTV Sports' "3-Way Threat" and is part of the Campbell's Soup-at-Hand team with Tara Dakides and pro skateboarder Bucky Lasek.
