SG's QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN presented by Tilly's is an all female snowboard competition in a series of events produced by the SG, developed to support women's board sports and culture.

Our goal as the world's leading board sports magazine for girls is to provide a venue for professional and amateur female snowboarders to push the sport in a fun environment while raising money and awareness for breast cancer research through Boarding 4 Breast Cancer (B4BC).

Queen of the Mountain brings the action sports community together for a day filled with entertainment for every level of enthusiast.

EVENT ELEMENTS

WOMEN'S PRO DIVISION
The Queen of Mountain is one of the only stand - alone women's professional snowboarding event, providing competitors with a key Southern California venue for competition, in addition to providing spectators and media access to the top professional snowboarders. The Queen of the Mountain has a $15,000 prize purse in addition to $5,000 specialty prize categories donated to B4BC.

AMATEUR
The amateur divisions invite girls of all ages and abilities to participate in the event on a competitive level. The amateur divisions provide an opportunity for the youth to compete amongst top professionals.

OP GIRLS LEARN TO RIDE
Op Girls Learn to Ride has created a series of girls-only action sports clinics designed to give females of all ages the basic skills and confidence necessary to participate in skateboarding, surfing, moto-cross, wakeboarding, and snowboarding with more than 45 events throughout the United States and Canada.

BOARDING FOR BREAST CANCER - RIDE FOR A CURE
Collect pledges prior to the event towards the race. Money is not raised per lap for the race. The Top 3 fundraisers win snowboards and other wonderful prizes from event sponsors. Whoever claims the first place position in the race wins a season pass courtesy of the mountain.

Ride for a Cure/Board-A-Thon is open to all ages and is part of B4BC's nationwide effort to support breast cancer research and education. Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a nonprofit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation. The B4BC mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection, and the value of a healthy lifestyle surrounded by the passions of today's youth culture.

THE FENDER STAGE
The Fender Stage will be rocking all day with live performances from up and coming acts, giveaways, and the center of attraction for the awards ceremony.
