SGMAG.COM MIND CANDY
Invisible, Invisible
August 30, 2003
by Erin Brooks

Up-and-coming MC Invisible has just pumped out his self-titled debut album, and it's definitely worth checking out on your next CD-purchasing venture. This one-man show from Brooklyn proves that overcoming tough streets, writing about real life, and turning it all into some serious libretto is better than rapping about bling-bling any day.

In his lyrics, Invisible goes beyond dealing with average problems in the 'hood. The 13-song release takes a deeper look at life, and Invisible undetectably dives into his soul to bring forth issues that aren't typically written about in mainstream hip-hop. Songs titled "Concrete Jungle" and "Do For Self" boast positive vibes and feel-good style with a melodic, underground, rap-soul beat.

Check out everything Invisible has to offer at www.tableturns.com (site currently under construction).
